JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Attorney General Jim Hood has charged three people with crimes against vulnerable adults.
Charged are 39-year-old Tracy Goodson, of Calhoun City, 23-year-old Courtney Dixon, of Abbeville, and 44-year-old Greg Sullivan of Gulfport.
Goodson is charged with one count of misdemeanor exploitation of a vulnerable adult for allegedly making calls on a phone belonging to a resident of an Oxford care facility.
Dixon is charged with one count of misdemeanor abuse of a vulnerable adult for allegedly slapping a resident of North Mississippi Regional Center.
Sullivan is charged with six counts of misdemeanor neglect of a vulnerable adult and one count of operating an institution for the aged or infirm without a license.
All face up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine for each vulnerable adult charge.
