    The Forrest County Board of Supervisors considered bids to replace a bridge during their Monday meeting.  Bids were taken into consideration to replace a bridge near Hattiesburg High School on North 12th Avenue near Conti Street. A third-party inspection was made on the bridge just south of the high school and it was determined that it needed to be replaced due to having wood pilings for support.     A news release from Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson says a deputy shot and killed an armed suspect on Lake Vista Drive. According to the sheriff, deputies went to the neighborhood off Canal Road at 5:58 Monday night. They reportedly went there for a follow-up call involving a stolen car case from earlier that day.  "A deputy discharged his weapon and the suspect was transported from the scene to a local area hospital" where he later died, the sheriff said.
