Hattiesburg trash pick-up schedule changed due to holiday

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The City of Hattiesburg’s trash pick-up schedule has changed due to a holiday. There will be no garbage, trash or recycling pickups on Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of President’s Day.

The schedule is as followed:

Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 - Closed. No garbage, trash or recycling pickups.

Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 - Garbage (green cans) routinely collected on Mondays. Heavy trash & recycling (blue cans) for Wards 1 & 2.

Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 - Garbage (green cans) routinely collected on Tuesday. Heavy trash & recycling (blue cans) for Ward 3 (regular schedule).

Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 - Trash (brown cans) routinely collected on Wednesdays. Trash (brown cans) and garbage (green cans) routinely collected in Burkett’s Creek on Wednesdays. Heavy trash & recycling (blue cans) for Ward 4 (regular schedule).

Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 - Trash (brown cans) routinely collected on Thursdays. Heavy trash & recycling (blue cans) for Ward 5 (regular schedule).
