PINE BELT, MS (WDAM) - Wednesday, a few clouds and some fog int he morning will give way to sunny skies int eh afternoon. High temperatures will rebound into the low 60s - even with a north wind.
Thursday we will start to see some high clouds drift into the area. Highs will be around 70. No real threat for rain.
Friday and Saturday we will see two storm systems swing by to our north. Both will bring a very small chance for some brief rain. Friday morning you'll wake up with clouds and maybe some wet pavement. Same with Saturday. The chance for rain will be low, only around 20 percent. Highs will be around 70.
Sunday will start off with clouds and break out into some sunshine in the afternoon with a few high clouds. Highs will be around 70 again. A dry front will push through the area in the afternoon and kick temperatures back down Sunday night.
Next week, a stronger system will push another cold front through the area on Tuesday. Model guidance is still struggling on placement and timing, but it looks like there will be a chance for rain and storms on Tuesday.
Beyond that, things cool down briefly before another system rolls through toward the following weekend. highs will remain above average.
