LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - More than two dozen of the area’s best chili cooks will gather in downtown Laurel Saturday to showcase their finest recipes.
The annual Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off will feature 29 chili chefs, who will compete for prizes.
It will all take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. along the 500 block of Central Avenue.
A $10 ticket price will get you all you can eat.
“We’re going to have a about 150 gallons of chili down here, so you can get your fill and we have hot dogs for the kids, courtesy of our sponsor Magnolia State Bank,” said Judi Holifield, executive director of Laurel Main Street.
This will be the 8th year for the event.
