HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A cold night Sunday night for the Eclipse. Monday will start rather cold with temperatures in the mid 20s. The wind will shift through the day back to the southeast and warm the area back into the 50s under a mostly sunny sky.
Tuesday will feature extra clouds building into the area. Highs will be in the mid 60s. There will be a 20 percent chance for some light rain. The rain chances will continue to increase overnight. Wednesday will be the rainiest day of the next seven. Highs will be around 65, but that may come a bit earlier in the day as the rain builds in, the temperatures will start to fall.
Thursday will start cloudy and chilly. Temperatures in the morning will be in the 30s. highs will top out around 50.
Then another shot of cold air slides in Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be int he 40s and 50s again.
