BASSFIELD, MS (WDAM) - After helping Bassfield High win state championships in 2012 and 2013, twin brothers A.J. and C.J. Moore went on to enjoy college careers at Ole Miss.
C.J. just wrapped up his senior season in Oxford while A.J. is preparing for an NFL playoff game on Saturday.
The undrafted safety was picked up by the Houston Texans this season and has recorded 11 tackles in 16 games.
“As I think back and I look at [A.J. and C.J.], I looked at how much they did on their own,” said Jefferson Davis head coach Lance Mancuso – former coach of Bassfield High. “How much they worked outside of the things that we asked them to do. They’re definitely a great example of that one percent type athlete and what they have to do to set themselves apart from everybody else.”
