WDAM asks the Pine Belt to help make a child’s Christmas wish come true!
Every year, many children around the Pine Belt have a no presents at Christmas. But you could help brighten up the holidays for a child. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is asking your help to adopt a child and provide a few gift items that could make a real difference in his or her life.
Just knowing that people in our community care about them and want to help make wishes come true could bring a smile.
Watch for Angel Tree reminders throughout the month during News 7 Midday, News 7 at 6 and News 7 at 10. The Salvation Army has Angel Trees or adoption tables set up so you can go by Turtle Creek Mall in Hattiesburg to adopt an Angel. You can also look for them at Sawmill Square Mall or Walmart in Laurel.
Take a look at some of the children we will highlight during our newscasts. It will give you an idea of some of the small gift items they have on their WISH LISTS.
